Our capabilities
Graetz Mfg., Inc. handles both prototype work and full production runs, with nearly every step completed in our own facility in Pound, Wisconsin. We do our machining, cutting, welding, forming and finishing in-house, so we control the quality and timing of your project rather than relying on outside vendors.
CNC machining
Our shop is equipped with vertical and horizontal machining centers as well as CNC turning centers. We produce small custom batches and long-running repeat orders alike. Many parts can also run unattended overnight, which allows us to meet larger volume requirements on schedule.
Cutting & profiling
Our waterjet cuts nearly any material without heat, so edges stay clean and parts hold their shape. A plasma table handles plate work, and our production saws prepare bar stock for machining. Most parts cut here move directly to machining or welding in the same facility.
Joining & forming
Robotic welding delivers consistent results on production runs, while our experienced welders handle custom and one-off work. Combined with CNC press brake forming and a full fabrication area, we can form, weld and assemble components before they leave our shop.
Specialty processes
We perform gear hobbing, horizontal broaching and surface grinding in-house, processes many shops need to outsource. Keeping this work here reduces handoffs and gives you a single point of contact throughout your project. It’s how we’ve produced sprockets, gears and hubs for ninety years.
We’ve been family owned and operated in Pound, Wisconsin since 1936. Our materials are always sourced in the USA, and every part we ship is machined, cut, welded and assembled by our own team in our own shop. It’s how we’ve done business for ninety years, and it’s not changing.
